Connect with Facebook
One sign in, and everything after it is automatic. Nothing is added to the
scheduler until you pick a Page on the next step, so this is safe to press
and back out of.
The one screen that matters: when Facebook
asks which Pages to allow, choose Opt in to all current and future Pages.
Tick them one at a time and miss one, and that brand simply will not appear in the list.
What has to be true about the brand first
Check the link took:Business settings, Instagram accounts.
Click the account, and it should name the Page under connected assets.
An Instagram account links to one Page only, so if it is attached elsewhere,
disconnect it there first.
What has to be true about the Meta app, once ever
Open the app's Use cases,
open Manage everything on your Page, then its Permissions tab,
and add every one below at Standard Access.
If the sign in signs you in as yourself and never
asks which Pages to allow, that is plain Facebook Login, which knows nothing
about business assets. The app needs a Facebook Login for Business
configuration: on the app, Facebook Login for Business, Configurations, Create
configuration, choose the general one, add Pages and
Instagram accounts as assets and the permissions listed above. Put the
Configuration ID into wrangler.toml as META_CONFIG_ID and deploy. It
is not a secret.
The app also needs Facebook Login added as a product, with
this worker's callback address listed under
Valid OAuth Redirect URIs. Without it the button above comes back with an error
instead of a list of Pages.
Do not request Advanced Access and do not submit for App Review. Neither is needed for
Pages you administer, and asking invites scrutiny for nothing.
If a permission is not offered, no use case on the
app carries it yet. Add the use case first. A permission that is called "invalid" is
almost never retired, it just is not attached to this app.
Or paste a token instead
Only worth using if the button will not work. Open the
Graph API Explorer,
set Meta App to the right app , leave it on
User Token, add the permissions listed above, then press
Generate Access Token and opt in to all Pages. Copy the long string
beginning EAA. It lasts about an hour.

Name the brand
A LinkedIn only brand needs no Facebook Page and no Instagram account. It posts as
you, to your own profile. Name it, then authorise LinkedIn.
Short id, lowercase and no spaces. Used in links and scripts.
Display name, shown in the header.

Comments
Facebook and Instagram only. LinkedIn comments cannot be read through
its API without a permission it only grants to selected developers, so nothing on a
LinkedIn post will ever appear here. Instagram stories are excluded too, because replies to
a story are direct messages rather than comments.

Reply to a word
Somebody comments a word you choose and the same reply goes back publicly,
underneath their comment. The words are yours, written out here, so nothing is invented at
the time.
Facebook and Instagram only, and only on posts sent from here. LinkedIn
comments cannot be read through its API, and a post made directly in the Facebook or
Instagram app is invisible to this. A rule on a brand that only posts to LinkedIn will never
fire, however well it is written.

Not case sensitive, and punctuation is ignored, so
someone typing "outside view?" still matches. It has to be whole words, and words
inside a web address do not count, so a reply pointing at a page named after the word
is safe.
Send it without asking me
Left off, the reply waits in Comments for you to press
send. Turned on, it goes out on its own at the next quarter hour after the comment appears, so allow up to about twenty minutes. Check for new comments now, on the Comments card, does it straight away.
When nothing matches a word
A few replies, one per line, taken in turn. Three ways of saying thank you,
used in rotation, read as a person having a quiet day. One reply used forty times reads as
a machine.

Questions
Complaints
Compliments are the safe one. A rotating line under a
question or a complaint answers neither, and the person can tell. Spam is never answered.
